Autumn Information

We are now entering the last month of what has been another great season at Strand. The course is still in great condition, so be sure to make the most of the late season golf.

Below is some information to keep you up to date with everything that is happening on the course and in the restaurant & pro shop.

The Course:

The closing date for the course will be determined by the weather over the next few weeks. This years final club competition will be the Back Tee Cup/Strand Cup due to take place on Sunday the 30th of September. Following this, on Monday the 1st of October, the course team will start to prepare the course for the winter. This will mean the cut heights on the greens will increase slightly, the greens will be punched and dressed, re-seeding will take place on the fairways and fore greens and some of the par 3 tees may be closed and replaced with mats to give them a chance to re-cover prior to the winter.

The Restaurant:

The restaurant has been open every day of the season and for bookings during the evenings. This will continue until the course closes. However, the open times will slightly change for the restaurant and kiosk due to the days becoming shorter through the Autumn.

Below are the open hours for the restaurant, pro shop and kiosk, as well an updated Autumn menu.

From October 1st

Open Hours:

Restaurant

Mon-Fri: 09:00-15:30
Sat-Sun: 08:00-16:00

The kitchen will serve food from 11:00-15:00.

Autumn Menu

Soup of the week served with bread - 95kr
Chicken salad - 105kr
Mushroom penne with root vegetables and cream sauce - 110kr
Fish n chips - 160kr
Strands Burger - 165kr

Note: Dagens will be served on Saturdays.

Pro Shop:

Mon-Fri: 09:00-15:00
Sat-Sun: 08:00-15:00

Club pro Janne, will be on site most mornings and afternoons from 13:00-15:00.

Kiosk:

Mon-Fri: 09:00-17:30
Sat-Sun: 08:00-18:00
